Citizens Smart Banking



Citizens Smart Banking is a Mobile Banking that allows you to Use banking facility anytime and anywhere through your own mobile phone. Following are the overview of services of Citizens Smart Banking.

Transaction Alert: Get instant alert message of deposit and withdrawl from your account.
Balance Enquiry: You can check your own balance and the balance of other accounts opened under your ID .
Mini-statements: Checking of account history as a mini statement to your own mobile set.
Statement Request: Statement printing request can be placed through your mobile.
Cheque Book Request: Cheque printing request can be placed through your mobile.
PIN Change : To change the Personal Identification Number (PIN) CODE .
Funds transfer:
-Within accounts of our bank
- Fund transfer to the member bank of F1Soft.
-Load balance in e-Sewa account -Online payment service.
Utility Payment:
-Land Line Bill Payment (Nepal Telecom only)
-Post Paid/Prepaid and TopUps of NTC and Ncell and ADSL (In every TopUps you can get 2% discounts)
Buy Recharge Cards: Pre-paid Mobile (Namaste Prepaid and Sky CDMA), , Smart Cell and Radius calling cards, DishHome and Broad Linke cards.
School fee payments: GEMS, Don Bosco and Kathmandu Pragya Kunj School.
Merchant Payments: Payment to the different merchantes listed.
Easy Account Opening: If you don't have account in Citizens Bank, Please send AC to 7788 for NTC Users and 37788 for Ncell Users then bank will contact you for easy account opening and enjoy different facilities.

Mode of Usage
The customers can either use plain text based SMS or Menu driven application to use Smart Bank Services. All types of mobile users can avail the text based SMS services. Request:
Citizens Bank Smart Bank users can request for statement of an account, new cheque book request , stoppage to cheque, inquire to banking hours, inquire to know currency rates. For security purpose, Citizens Smart Bank provides the service of changing the PIN number for the mobile application.

Alert Service:
Citizens Smart Bank service provides alert messages to its user regarding any changes in their account such as withdrawal, deposit, credit/debit card transaction, etc. However the limit for minimum withdraws and deposits depends upon the profile selected by the customers.

Eligibility
• Citizens Bank Smart Bank services are available only for Personal Citizens Bank Account holders.
• This service is available for Local Currency Account holders only.
• This service is available for NTC Mobile user (Prepaid and Post Paid) and to NCELL users.
• Only one mobile number of one customer is supported.

Customer Registration
In order to avail Citizens Smart Bank service, Citizens account holders are required to register their mobile number and account by filling application form which is available in every branches of the bank. Customer should choose the service packages and sign on the contract for using the Smart Banking service.

Security
• Change your permanent PIN CODE frequently and delete the SMS message from sent item as well.
• Please memorize your permanent PIN CODE and delete your SMS message in inbox that contain your PIN CODE message to avoid misuse of your bank A/C in case of loss of your mobile device and/or use by others.
• For your safety, bank allows you only 10 transactions per day with maximum transaction of Rs. 50,000 each.
• Please check your bank statement regularly for reconciliation of transaction
• In case of loss of your mobile set, immediately call up to your nearest branch.
• In case of mobile number change, you need to submit written application to block existing number and register new number.
• Delete any sent messages from your “sent” folder in order to protect the account information.
• Delete all sensitive account related information from your ‘inbox’ folder.
• Not to share the mobile identification number given by bank.
• Report to bank immediately after losing mobile phones.

Fund Transfer
Citizens Bank Smart Bank users can use the service to transfer funds from one account to another account within the same bank or to the member banks. They can also have. Smart banking provides the advantage of transferring fund to predefined account and other bank account .They can avail smart banking for their prepaid debit card or transfer fund to other payment gateway such as eSewa, cash out etc.

Bill Payment
Customers can perform mobile payment to any merchants using Citizens Smart Bank service. Users can also make payment of bills. Mobile banking eases users by providing the facility to have bill payment to predefined merchant such as Telecoms, Service Providers, etc. Users can also have payment of utility bills, fee, and credit card; have their mobile recharged and other merchants, via their mobile device.

You will receive the 14 digit recharge number through SMS. You will need to recharge your prepaid mobile using the 14 digit number.

7. Purchase of Recharge Card-Namaste Prepaid Mobile for specified account
